Brandon Morales is originally from McAllen, TX. At the age of five, he began to play soccer at the club level. Four years later, he began to play soccer competitively at the age of nine all across the state of Texas.
As Brandon matured he was able to join the Houston Dynamo Academy at fourteen years old, where he had to leave his family and move to a bigger city six hours away. After six months, he migrated back to his hometown, where he joined the RGV FC Toros Academy.
Soon after, Brandon was playing in major tournaments across the United States such as, IMG Cup, Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup, and Lonestar Cup.
After spending two years in the Academy, Brandon had received several Division 1 offers. He committed to attending the United States Air Force Academy to play Division 1 Soccer. However, one month before having to leave to boot camp, he had the opportunity to sign with the RGV FC Toros (professional team affiliated to the Houston Dynamo). Brandon had to make a tough decision, but in the end decided to decommit from USAFA and take his gap year to find another opportunity that would further his education and not require military service.
A year later, Brandon had offers from American University, Creighton University, and Cornell University with a full ride scholarship. Brandon chose to commit to Cornell University not only because of its high academics, but because of its growing soccer program. Today, Brandon has begun Prefreshman Summer Program and is getting prepared for the Fall semester.
